Barrier Water Volume

Hard

Two Pointers

In "Barrier Water Volume", each number is the height of a wall with width 1.

Compute how many total units of rainwater are trapped after rainfall.

Example 1

Input:height = [0,2,1,3,0,1,2]
Output:4

For input height = [0,2,1,3,0,1,2], summing trapped water over each position gives 4. Therefore, return 4.

Example 2

Input:height = [4,1,0,2,3,0,2]
Output:8

For input height = [4,1,0,2,3,0,2], summing trapped water over each position gives 8. Therefore, return 8.

Constraints

  • 1 <= height.length <= 2 * 104
  • 0 <= height[i] <= 105
